The benefits of attending SLA’s Annual Conference are innumerable, but the cost of attendance can sometimes be prohibitive. In this economy the availability of corporate underwriting is a benefit few can rely upon, but the continuing education sessions offered are too important to pass-up. For those who want to attend the 2009 convention and could benefit from an individual bail-out, various SLA chapters and divisions offer scholarships, stipends or grants to those intrepid enough to apply
