SLA Illinois Chapter Connecting People and Information

SLA Illinois member Mary Crompton, currently with the Electronic Systems Sector of Northrop Grumman in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, was recently honored with the President's Leadership Award for 2009. The award was given to a team of librarians from Northrop Grumman for "operational excellence" in supporting library customers across various campuses in the U.S.. An awards banquet is scheduled for April 22nd at The Meridien in Rolling Meadows, Illinois to honor the recipients.

Ms. Crompton supports primarily Electronic Systems across three sites: Rolling Meadows, Laser Systems in Apopka, Florida, and  Amherst Systems in Buffalo, New York.
