The Corporate Information Centers section of the Business & Finance division invites you to register for its Wednesday morning breakfast session in Seattle.
** Bridging the Border: A Corporate Library Wiki **
Long-distance teamwork can be challenging. The cross-border Business Research Group of a major bank employs a Wiki to pool its knowledge. The Canada-U.S. group has created an online space where team members can contribute information and collaborate on projects.
Colleagues get to know each other through online profiles and a blog; team members create content to be shared, edited and reviewed by others. Meeting information, bookmarks and documents are stored where everyone can readily access them. Find out how a group of information professionals is using social software to collaborate.
The speaker is Stephanie Perpick of BMO Capital Markets and the cost is $20.
If you have already registered for the SLA Annual Meeting, it's easy to go back in at anytime to add an event. The forms are populated with the information you already submitted (except for credit card number.)
