Or are you sitting back, wondering what the fuss is with Twitter, Linked In, Plaxo, Bookins, SMS, Second Life, and YouTube? Are you looking for examples of how to use these tools and blogs and wikis effectively in a business environment?
The May 20, 2008 SLA Illinois meeting will be a short program on implementing new tools into a skeptical business environment with SLA members presenting real-life success stories. We're planning an informal environment with heavy hors d'oeuvres instead of a sit-down dinner. It will be an opportunity to mingle and strike up a conversation with those whose ideas have energized your imagination.
We're looking for volunteers! If you have a success story to share, please call Bobbie Goering at 312-394-3064 or email her at Roberta.Goering@exeloncorp.com. We'll want you to share your name and business and a short example of a problem and its solution.
ALSO, if you are attending the SLA Annual Conference in Seattle, please let us know by checking the relevant box on the registration form. We have some plans in store for Illinois Chapter members!
