Christina Stoll, Library Services Consultant at the Metropolitan Library System, reports on the recent SLA Leadership Summit in the March 19, 2008 MLS E-nnounce. Christina won the Chapter's Leadership Summit stipend and joined President Laura Ikens and Executive Board member Lorene Kennard in Louisville, Ky. "From the networking opportunities, to the formal business meetings, changing of the guard ceremonies, and news about current and future happening at SLA," writes Stoll, "the summit was both an informational and inspirational experience on how a professional association such as SLA works behind the scene."
