Dominican University Graduate School of Library & Information Science

Founded in 1930, Dominican University's Graduate School of Library and Information Science (GSLIS) has grown to become one of the nation’s largest Masters of Library and Information Science degree-granting programs.  More than 600 students attend classes in River Forest, Greater Chicago, and St. Paul, Minnesota.

In complement to the MLIS, the Graduate School of Library and Information Science offers the Master of Science in Knowledge Management degree as well as post-graduate certifications in knowledge management, school library media, and special studies.

In addition to its academic programs, the school publishes World Libraries, a scholarly journal focusing on international librarianship and is home to the Follett Chair, one of only four endowed chairs in library science in the country.
